THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED
-Genesis 1:1-3 states, … In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and
void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let
there be light : and there was light … John 3:5,6 states, … Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except
a man be born of WATER and of the SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God …
-Can you see the similarities between these two passages of scripture? They both speak of water and Spirit. We must see
that the water represents the first act of creation. It represents the natural man, and the natural birth. When a woman gives
birth to her child, first her water breaks, and then the baby comes forth. This of course is our natural birth. The natural
man in scripture is many times represented by the word EARTH, or something similar. Remember … We have a treasure hidden
in EARTHEN VESSELS.
-It takes the Spirit ( Breath ) of God to make something alive. Remember … The Spirit quickens ( makes alive ). Genesis
2:7 states, … And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul …
-We must understand that life, light, love, and all things that pertain to these three are ONLY FOUND IN THE SPIRIT OF
GOD! Outside the Spirit of God is death, darkness, and hate, which man produces as a result of his carnal mind, which is the
corrupt nature of Adam ( the sin nature ).
-Remember … The natural man can not discern the things of the Spirit of God. THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED! Let
us ask the Father to move by His Spirit on the waters of our carnality. Then, and only then, will we be enlightened to understand
our Father and His purpose of the ages. We shall then go from darkness to light.
-LET THERE BE LIGHT!-
