PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE / PART 7
YOU SHALL NEVER FALL
-2ND Peter 1:10 states, … Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling
and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall: …
-This is quite an unbelievable promise, but if the Bible is true ( which it is ), then we must believe it and
take it for what it says. This verse is telling us the result of partaking of the divine nature. It tells us of a position
in God that gives us the ability to NEVER FALL. The word “fall” in this verse means to stumble. Well … If
you are not able to stumble, how can you even fall? This does not mean that we are destined to never make a mistake, but rather,
it speaks of a POSITION OF TESTIMONY that is sure and rock solid, and that will never fail. This “position of testimony”
is to be found IN CHRIST, Who is the ANOINTED ONE OF GOD. To be IN CHRIST is to be a part of the NEW CREATION MAN,
having God’s divine nature as our power source. The old man is dead and buried! We have been raised with Christ in newness
of life. It is the exchanged life process.
-With these things being said, we are now on a path to CERTAIN VICTORY, having positioned and aligned ourselves
with a POWER that will enable us to NEVER STUMBLE. Due to the fact that we have been born with a fallen nature, this becomes
VERY EXCITING NEWS to the human race. All we know is a life of stumbling, falling, sin, frustration, futility, vanity, and
condemnation. God’s divine nature is the ONLY THING that is able to free us from the vicious cycle of constantly coming
short of the glory of God, which leads to failure, frustration, and condemnation. As well, God’s divine nature liberates
us, causing us to be ushered into a new dimension of living, in which we are promised to receive of God’s abundant life.
This new and living way is the opposite of falling short of the glory of God. It introduces us to the potential of never falling.
How can we fall as long as we are sharing in the very nature of God? It is impossible to fall when one is walking in the Spirit.
God’s nature is bringing us to the place where we only do those things that please our Father. After partaking of Who
God is, godliness will become a …
