UNBELIEF
-Matthew 13:57,58 states, … And they were offended in Him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not
without honor, except in his own country ( His native country: i.e. Galilee ), and in his own house. And He did not many mighty
works there because of their unbelief … Mark 6:5,6 states, … And He could do there no mighty work, except that
He laid His hands upon a few sick people, and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief … Mark 16:14 states,
Afterward He appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because
they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen … Romans 11:20 states, … Well; because of unbelief
they ( Israel ) were broken off … Hebrews 4:3,6 states, … For we which have believed do enter into rest, …
seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of
unbelief …
-As you can see, unbelief is not real high on God’s list. As a matter of fact, it is not on His list of
likes at all. Remember … Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6) … As was stated earlier,
Jesus did not perform many mighty works in His own country. This would tell us that unbelief hinders, blocks, and stops the
power of God from coming forth in our midst. It does not hinder God, as much as it hinders us from experiencing God in our
own personal lives. We must understand that unbelief is a very serious matter to our Father. It puts us in a position of not
being able to enter into God’s rest. As well, it causes us not to apprehend that which is ours ( our inheritance ) in
Christ.
-God does not deal with man on the basis of intellect, but rather gives each man a measure of faith to approach
Him. This faith is what unlocks the door to justification, sanctification, and glorification. Remember … It is by grace
THROUGH FAITH that we are to experience the life of our Heavenly Father. FAITH is the key that unlocks the door of grace,
whereby, giving us access to heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Unbelief quenches the flow of God’s Spirit and keeps us
in bondage to the hell of the carnal mind. In simple terms, … UNBELIEF DISPLEASES GOD, AND FAITH ( BELIEVING ) PLEASES
GOD!
-Let us be honest in admitting that we all struggle with unbelief at times. Thankfully, our loving Father is
patient, forgiving, and ever ready to …
-HELP OUR UNBELIEF!-
