THE 42ND GENERATION
-The 42nd Generation! What in the world is it? Get out your Bible and turn to Matthew 1:1-16. Notice that there
are 42 generations listed, but that the 41st generation is Jesus, the son of Joseph. So who is the 42nd
Generation? The key is to be found in vs. 17, which states, … all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen
generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into
Babylon unto CHRIST are fourteen generations … So the answer to our question is CHRIST. CHRIST is the 42nd
Generation. Is there a difference between Jesus and Christ? That is a very good question! Who or what is ( the ) Christ?
-1st Corinthians 12:12 states, … for as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of
that one body, being many, are one body: SO ALSO IS CHRIST … Do you see it? Do you grasp what was just said? Christ
is to be seen as a many membered body with Jesus as its head. The Christ is made up of more than just one man. IT IS A CORPORATE
MAN! IT IS A MANY MEMBERED MAN. It could be said that Jesus is THE CHRIST ( Anointed ), and that we are HIS CHRIST ( Anointed
).

Corinthians 12:12,27. The 42nd GENERATION IS NOT JESUS ALONE, BUT IT IS HIS SON, THE OVERCOMER OF REVELATION 21:7."

-The 42nd Generation is Jesus and YOU! It speaks of those that are called out of all ages as the true seed of
Abraham to rule and reign with Jesus now and in the ages to come. This will culminate in, and bring about what the apostle
Paul referred to as the MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD. WHAT A GENERATION! WHAT A PROMISE! WHAT A HOPE! WHAT A DELIVERANCE
FOR THE ENTIRE CREATION! Revelation 21:7 states, … He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be His God,
and he shall be My son … IT IS YOU … #42 ( 6 X 7 … 6=MAN, 7=THE PERFECTION OF GOD … HENCE, THE PERFECTION
OF GOD MANIFESTED THROUGH MAN ).
-WE ARE CALLED TO BE THE 42ND GENERATION!-
