#1 GOD THE CREATOR LOVES
-That God the Creator loves and cares for each individual with a Parent’s love.
-This statement is the theme of the entire Bible. There are many that read the Bible and do not understand
that God the Creator loves and cares for each individual with a Parent’s love. This is sad and also ironic. It is equivalent
to looking into the sky on a cloudless day and saying that you are not able to see the sun. The book of Genesis is a book
of beginnings. Genesis 1:1 states, … In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth … This assures us that
God is the Creator! As well, we are able to see that God the Creator loved and cared for the human race. Not only did God
create Adam, but He gave him everything that he needed, including the promise to redeem the human race from their fallen state.
This ( fallen state ) was due to the disobedient act and transgression of Adam. When mankind was at it lowest point, GOD WAS
AT HIS BEST, promising to bruise the head of the serpent, thereby delivering humanity from its bondage.
-The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell.
The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled, and pardoned from his sin.

-Colossians 1:16 plainly tells us that God created “all things” by Jesus Christ. Colossians
1:20 tells us that God will reconcile the same “all things” to Himself through the cross of Jesus Christ.
This passage of scripture ( Colossians 1:16-20 ) portrays God as the Creator and Reconciler of all things. WHAT A LOVING CREATOR!
-As was stated earlier, God’s love is that of a Parent’s love. A Parent’s love is to be characterized
as: a love that births, nurtures, develops, teaches, corrects, and causes one to fully mature. In addition to all of this,
GOD’S LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!
-Is this how you see God? Unfortunately, many people do not. Many people see God as an angry monster Who is
eager to torture the majority of His created beings forever. This is due to the incorrect teaching of eternal torture that
has all but permeated Evangelical Christianity. Does this teaching ( eternal torture ) glorify God??? SURELY IT DOES
NOT!!!
-Let us focus our attention back on the love of a Parent. Does a Parent punish his child? YES! Why does he punish
his child? He punishes his child TO CORRECT HIM! THAT IS A PARENT’S LOVE! THAT IS THE LOVE OF GOD THE CREATOR! Will
there be punishment in the ages to come? YES! With that being said though, we must understand that this punishment is a means
to an end. IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CORRECTION AND FOR THE BETTERING OF THE OFFENDER!
-There are those who would ask the question, … How do you know that there is a Creator? The answer is
simple. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE CREATION WITHOUT A CREATOR! As well, there are those that would ask the question, …
How do you know that God loves you? The answer is simple. God DEMONSTRATED His love toward us in coming to this earth, being
manifested in the flesh to take away the sin of the world.
