1ST CORINTHIANS 13 / PART 4
-1ST Corinthians 13:8 states, … Charity ( love ) never fails: but whether there be prophecies,
they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away …
-LOVE NEVER FAILS! What a statement! These words should give us reason to greatly rejoice!
Unfortunately, most do not believe or understand this statement. Most that say they believe that love never fails, in essence,
really do not believe this is the case, for they preach and teach that God’s love will fail most of humanity. They (
Christians ) claim that the vast majority of God’s creation will be tortured for ever and ever in a burning hell. This
comes from the simple fact that most have never done a word study on the words “hell”, “fire”, and
“for ever” ( “eternal”, “everlasting” ). If a proper study is done of these three words,
then the truth will rise to the top, causing the traditions and doctrines of men to crumble before your very eyes. You must
do a word study on the Hebrew word “Sheol” and the Greek words “Hades”, “Gehenna”, and
“Tartaroo”. These are the words that have been translated into the English word “hell”. As well, you
must do a word study on the Greek word “pur”. This is the Greek word for “fire”. Finally, you must
do a word study on the Hebrew word “olam” and the Greek words “aion” and “aionios”. These
words pertain to the “ages”, but many have misunderstood and mistranslated these words, causing much confusion.
-After an unbiased study is done concerning these words, the truth of the salvation of all men will become
quite clear. You will then see ( perceive ) your Heavenly Father for Who He truly is … THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!!! Then,
and only then, will you understand the statement … LOVE NEVER FAILS! This means that God’s love never fades out,
or becomes obsolete, or comes to an end! Remember … Nothing can separate us from the love of God, NOT EVEN DEATH ( Romans
8:35-39 )!
-Romans 8:38,39 states, … For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate
us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord … ( DO YOU BELIEVE THIS? )
-The love of God could be summed up best by the old song that states:
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell.
