I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE

-John 10:31,32 states, … I ( Jesus is speaking ) and My Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him … Let us remember that the scriptures refer to Jesus as the:

1. SON OF GOD

2. SON OF MAN

-In essence, Jesus was the perfect revelation of God and man. He was God manifested in the flesh. Jesus, the Son of God, showed man what God was really like. Jesus, the Son of man, showed man the perfect relationship with the Father. Hence, Jesus would say, … I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE …

-Jesus laid down the pattern for all who would follow in His footsteps. Whether we understand it or not, we are being drawn into a love relationship with our Heavenly Father. We are being brought to the place where we can say, … I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE!

-Do you remember what Psalm 82:6 says about man? It states, … I HAVE SAID, YOU ARE GODS; ALL OF YOU ARE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH …

-WOW!-

( LET THAT SINK IN FOR A MINUTE! )

-Jesus quoted this same verse in John 10:34,35 ( As well, read John 10:30-36 ). We are to see ourselves as IN CHRIST, for IN HIM we are part of the very Son of God. We are His body ( the body of Christ ). WE ARE GODS! THIS IS OUR TRUE IDENTITY!

-You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. With this being said though, your true essence is spirit. This leads us to the understanding that God is our Father, FOR GOD IS A SPIRIT. HE IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS! ACCEPT IT! BELIEVE IT! RECEIVE IT! WALK IN IT! IT IS YOUR TRUE IDENTITY! YOU ARE GODS! YOU AND THE FATHER ARE BECOMING ONE! THIS IS YOUR DESTINY!

-Just as Jesus was persecuted for revealing His relationship with the Father for what it truly was, so will you be persecuted. Do not be upset or surprised when you are stoned ( spiritually speaking ) and persecuted by others for the sake of righteousness, BUT RATHER REJOICE, AND BE EXCEEDING GLAD: FOR GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN: FOR SO PERSECUTED THEY THE PROPHETS WHICH WERE BEFORE YOU ( Matthew 5:12 ) …

-YOU AND THE FATHER ARE ( BECOMING ) ONE!-
