ABRAHAM LINCOLN
-How fitting it is to talk about Abraham Lincoln today. It is his birthday. Happy Birthday, Abe! Abraham Lincoln, the 16th
President of the United States of America, was a believer, and accepted the Holy Scriptures as inspired by God Himself. But
there is one point that is not often found in popular writings about him. ABRAHAM LINCOLN BELIEVED IN THE ULTIMATE SALVATION
OF ALL MEN! ( You can research this at www.savior-of-all.com. )
-He took the passage, “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive,” and followed up with
the proposition that Adam’s transgression was totally and completely reversed, and was made just and right by the atonement
of Christ. Abraham Lincoln understood punishment for sin to be a Bible doctrine, but also understood that it must cease when
justice is satisfied. He knew that all that were lost by the fall were made good by the sacrifice of the Son of God, EVERY
MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER.
-Lincoln often referred to 1st Corinthians 15 to support his view of the salvation of all men. He very clearly
was a believer, and knew the Bible better than any other President, especially in his understanding of the restitution of
all things. What a man! What a President! What a servant of God! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ABE! Your message of truth is marching on.
-IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE!-
