CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD
-Acts 2:21 states, … And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved
… What a wonderful day it is when a person calls on the name of the Lord! From that moment on their life will never
be the same. After calling on the name of the Lord you are introduced to a way of life that you have not previously known.
You are awakened out of death and introduced to the way, the truth, and the life. We are of course speaking of a personal
relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ! O HAPPY
DAY … WHEN JESUS WASHED ALL MY SINS AWAY!
-After initially calling on the name of the Lord you are then introduced to justification. This is to be seen as a PASSOVER
experience in God with PENTECOST and TABERNACLES to follow. Remember … These three feasts that took place in the Old
Testament represent our full salvation process ( spirit, soul, and body ).
-The key to this verse is in understanding that our salvation is a process. DO NOT LIMIT CALLING ON THE NAME OF THE LORD
TO A ONE TIME EXPERIENCE THAT TOOK PLACE AT SOME POINT IN THE PAST! That type of thinking leads to a form of godliness and
to spiritual death. CALL ON HIM NOW! CALL ON HIM TODAY! He is your Savior today, not just a Savior that did something for
you at some point in your past. The Lord Jesus Christ will save you out of every temptation, and deliver you from all evil.
He is your daily bread. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION!
-You must recognize that you are still in the process of BEING SAVED. This is called sanctification. Call on the name of
the Lord and you shall be saved. He is not just the Savior of your spirit, but also your soul and your body. We must STOP
limiting God to the past and the future. Calling on the name of the Lord is a NOW THING!
-CALL ON HIS NAME TODAY!-
