SALVATION IS OF THE LORD

-Jonah 2:9 states, … But I will sacrifice unto You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord … Psalm 3:8 states, … Salvation belongs unto the Lord: Your blessing is upon Your people …

-What a blessed day it is when we come to the understanding that SALVATION IS OF THE LORD! We must understand that salvation is authored and finished by God. In no way can man take any credit for his salvation, for it is by the grace of God. Remember … He ( Jesus ) is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith! Salvation is authored and finished by God alone, not us, and not even our faith. Our faith is also a gift from God. Remember … HE IS THE AUTHOR OF OUR FAITH!!! God is the One Who is responsible to begin in us a good work, and to complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. SALVATION DEPENDS FOR ITS COMPLETION ON GOD, AND NOT ON MAN.

-Man is only able to bring forth death ( carnality ). IN CHRIST ALONE IS LIFE AND SALVATION. Salvation was completed in the mind of God before the foundation of the world, and was manifested through Jesus Christ and His cross. We are now being awakened ( spirit, soul, and body ) to the salvation of our loving Father!

-CAN WE BE HONEST IN ADMITTING THAT WE CAN NOT SAVE OURSELVES? Thank God for HIS salvation! What a Savior He is!
